Lesson Two: Being an authority figure...
Being an authority figure requires you to be kind and helpful, so that people will respect you! But sometimes it's hard, so here's ten tips on being a good authority figure! If you're a moderator, an admin, or even a regular user, I'm sure these tips will help you!
#1. Never abuse your power.
#2. You must stay neutral at times when there are arguments. aka Don't favor anyone.
#3. Listen to both sides of an argument. Then figure out the best way to settle things.
#4. Try to do things yourself, you have authority, you can't complain to anyone.
#5. Only contact an admin if it's really that bad. I haven't experienced anything that bad yet. But I will try to think of examples. Edit: Okay, if there is a hacker or something that's just as bad, then tell an admin immediately!
#6. You can always ask for help. Whether it be a mod or an admin or even a regular user, you can always ask.
#7. Try to use proper grammar and spelling, if they can't understand you, they probably won't respect you.
#8. Try not to swear, it's your job to censor that, so don't do it!
#9. Try to be polite. Being rude to someone is not the way to go.
#10. Have fun! Or at least try to make things fun.
Hope this helps!
Edit: I thought of something for #5 look up ^-^
